Welcome to twopears Webcam Observatory, a regularly updated list of webcams from around the world.
I am your host, Frank Corliss. My main purpose in maintaining twopears
Observatory is to bring a variety of interesting live and near live web cameras to your attention.

Steve Chambers reminds us that the webcam world is at least 15 years old. His site, Steve's Ant Farm, is
a founding member, the first ant farm on the web (1994). In those days, most sites were academic. But
Steve brought us ants! Now, that was something to see! It still is worth looking at and you can do so at
twopears Animal Observatory.
You will see airplanes take off from Munich airport but you also see a parking lot
and some buildings. The site is also a weather station. My thanks to Frithjof Hylla for sending me the link.
Have a look at twopears City Observatory.

Two fine webcams to share today:
First, Le Méridien Monte Carlo has the only private beach access in Monte Carlo,
offering stylish and contemporary guestrooms with unparalleled views overlooking the old town of Monaco,
the Port Hercule, its famous Casino and the Grimaldi Forum.
twopears Ocean Observatory.
Second, Marta Font of Finques Frigola told me about a certain beach webcam, Calella de Palafrugell located
on the Costa Brava in Spain. I like this one with its classic old world beach and modern weather station.

Sheri Callen sent me the following site. I'm glad she did! Here's what she had to say about it:
"See a live feed from a Whale Watching boat during their Dolphin Watching and Whale Watching tours
out on the open ocean. The first and only place in the world you can view Whales and Dolphins Live
from your computer during their daily Whale Watching excursions. Underwater Cameras, Hydrophone,
and mics on the captain and crew make this more than a Whale Cam or Dolphin Cam, this is an Educational, reality, Whalewatching show."
Sounds like a reaaly good time and you can experience it at
twopears Ocean Observatory.
